Yesterday morning, reknown city pastor, Yiga Augustine passed on after spending many days struggling for his life in the hospital.
People have always been seeing Pastor Yiga Augustine Abizayo being comic and entertaining his Church people but very few actually really know his biography, who he really is, his age, businesses, wives and property including a school. We have everything here for you.
Yiga Augustine, who is now dead after liver failure at Nsambya Hospital was born in Sembabule. He said that his mother passed away at a tender age when she had never revealed to him the day he was born, so he didn’t know his own birthday and no body else did.
Yiga also said that he was never been baptized as he grew up in a struggling, broke with noschool fees to even take him to school.
“I was born deep in the villages of Ssembabule, where no ever imagined that i could live but just the same away Jesus was born the kraal, that had nothing but cow-dung, Today I’m also here rocking Kampala yet I never went school.”He said adding there is nothing that can stop him from whichever he wants to do.
Pastor Yiga knew Pastor Ssenyonga before he became a pastor and started up his own Church in Kawaala-Kasubi called Revival Church. It was from this church that he met Nabbi Omukazzi whom he dated for a few months before the two bitterly splitting.
With his following rapidly growing, Yiga was forced to start up his own media company, he opened up ABS Television to air his summons and preach the Gospel. The station faced a number of challenges from UCC over the content it was airing and it was oftenly scrapped off air.
Later on Yiga also brought in “holy rings” that he continued to offer to his followers at at tune 100,000 shillings each. He claimed that these rings are aimed at bonding his followers with God’s goodness and success since majority of the people find themselves bonded with evil which has over shadowed the triumph.
It should be noted that this man of God had for years been controversially known for his different summon that call for revenge (Okubizayo) and preaching under “Ki Kyolifa Tewelabide” that aired on his own TV television.
During his last few months on earth, Yiga had suffered a number of diseases and was at one point likened to HIV Aids which he trashed and by the time of his death it was reported that he was suffering from a Liver problem.
