East Africa’s Got Talent competition winners, the Mutesasira siblings, Esther and Ezekiel, have come out to reveal that they have never been paid their $50,000 (aboutShs184 million) grand prize.

The two won the maiden edition of the East Africa’s Got Talent competition that happened in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2019.

This was all said on a Facebook live broadcast that they aired out on 23rd October while in their home in Canada where they are now staying with their mother Julie Birungi.

“We haven’t got the money at all, they haven’t called us, they haven’t said anything,” Ezekiel and Esther Mutesasira stated.

They added on saying that it is going to be now the third year and they haven’t got the money yet.

It’s now getting close to three years since Esther and Ezekiel won the grand finale prize of the highly published competition.

The frustrated singing duo seems to have lost hope as they are yet to receive their money which they won during the competitions that were held in Nairobi, Kenya in 2019.
