Last year we published a story about Nisay P an upcoming artiste who was persuaded by John Blaq’s short term success to start singing and here we’re in a new year and a new hit song that could probably become the second lockdown anthem.
Produced By Brian Beats and video director JOBbins, Nisay P’s “Musege” banger has come to wash out songs “Muyayu”, “Kachumbali” and “Tumbiza Sound” which were the most played hit songs in the first Lock down.
No one had thoughts that even in 2021, we would get a big song from brand new talents but from the look of things, Nisay P is likely to get the first one and this can be confirmed if you listen to his dancehall song dubbed “Musege”.
This was also witnessed by NBS TV’s After 5 crew recently on the show’s 5 years anniversary on air and this is of no doubt the leading evening entertainment show on local TV.
Hosted by veterans, This program has over the years promoted and given a platform to the country’s biggest talents and its hosted by big icons like Douglas Lwanga and Mc Kats, deejays Dj Roja and DVJ Mercy Pro who play majorly local music.
These during the NBS After 5 show, Mc Kats, Douglas Lwanga, and Dvj Mercy Pro branded the song as “lockdown anthem” and they said it will make people sing to it because the lyrics sync with the current situation and the beat brings the dance vibe to life.
“This guy will make us sing whatever he wants. This is the lockdown anthem,” Mc Kats responded to Douglas Lwanga who had previously said, “The lyrics and the beat on this song are good. It is the song of the lockdown.”
Musege is a dancehall song that was released in May by Nisay P, who is just one year old in the industry and the idea was derived from Mudra’s hit song Muyayu though this particular song emphasizes the difficult situations caused by the lockdown
You can also watch the song and confirm with what we’ve published today.
