In Bushenyi District, a heartbreaking incident occurred during end-of-year examinations as Nickson Muyambi, a 20-year-old Senior Five student at St Kagwa High School Bushenyi, tragically collapsed and passed away.

Muyambi, originally from Kashare 1 village in Mbarara District, faced this unfortunate event in the school’s science laboratory on Friday, November 17, around 2:30 pm.
Godfrey Azahura, the deputy head teacher of St Kagwa High School Bushenyi, shared the sorrowful details, revealing that after collapsing, Muyambi’s fellow students attempted to rush him to a nearby clinic.
Despite their efforts, he did not survive the journey, marking a somber moment for the school community.
SSP Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson, reported that inquiries have been launched to shed light on the circumstances leading to the untimely death of the student.
The gravity of the situation prompted the transportation of Muyambi’s body to Kampala International Teaching Hospital Ishaka for a post-mortem examination, as authorities seek to unravel the details surrounding this tragic event.
