JUST IN: Ministry of Education & Sports issues Clear Roadmap ahead of Re-opening Schools

The ministry of education and sports has come out with a guided roadmap that will effect schools re-opening in Uganda

Below is a road map for Primary, Secondary, Technical/Farm Schools and community polytechnics.

TERMS

Term 1: From Monday 10^th January 2022 to Friday 15^th April 2022 for a period of 14 weeks.

Term 2: From Monday 9^th May 2022 to Friday 12^th August 2022 for a period of 14 weeks.

Term 3: From Monday 5^th September 2022 to Friday 9^th December 2022 for a period of 14 weeks.

The total of the time studied will be 42 weeks.

This means that re-opening schools will be effective 10^th January.

HOLIDAYS

Term 1 holidays: From Saturday 16^th April 2022 to Sunday 8^th May 2022 for a period of 3 weeks.

Term 2 holidays: From Saturday 13^th August 2022 to Sunday 4^th September 2022 for a period of 3 weeks.

Term 3 holidays: From Saturday 10^th December 2022 to Sunday 29^th January 2023 for a period of 7 weeks.

The total time spent in holidays will be equivalent to13 weeks.
