Only a few hours to vote, people tagged to NRM were seen at midnight giving out money to Kayunga voters.
Each voter that managed to turn up at the issuing center received each Shs.4000.
According to the eye witnesses, they were asked to vote for NRM candidate Andrew Muwonge.
According to a video published by BBS TV, those given the money displayed it to the camera with bitterness of being little.
The Kayunga voters also disappointed with the money being given to them in the middle of the night despite the curfew situation.
Many have promised to shame NRM by voting NUP candidate Harriet Nakwedde.

“We’re no happy at all, they gave us only shs.4000 expecting us to vote their candidate.” One of the recipient said.
“We lined up all that long only to receive this small money that can’t even facilitate for my transport to and from where I was.” Another recipient said.
Others promised that this money given to them will transport them to the voting places to vote for their NUP candidate.
“We haven’t been in acts of vote rigging as alledged by the opposition members specifically NUP. We’ve instead been sensitizing people on what well do for them.” Jane Sseninde told the press yesterday.

“We’ve gave them all the reasons as to why they have to vote for Muwonge and the NRM.” She added on.
This is not the first time such acts being done as it has been witnessed in many elections around the country including the presidential election in January.
