Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has dissolved all MK Units in each region and consolidated them under his command as the leader.
Furthermore, Gen Muhoozi has established a Central Executive Committee responsible for managing the executive tasks of the MK Movement.

Additionally, a disciplinary committee has been formed to address any misconduct from supporters within the organization.
Michael Mawanda, the chairperson of the MK Movement’s primary disciplinary body, confirmed this development.
He stated, “We have collectively agreed to merge all units and engage in unified mobilization for the MK Movement.”

Under the new structure, a minimum of two members from the Central Committee are required to attend every MK Movement event.
Mawanda further explained, “We will no longer establish separate structures as we are now operating as a single entity. We are currently preparing for upcoming elections, so the positions we currently hold are temporary in nature.”
