The individuals captured in a viral video, who were found with machetes on their waists, have been identified as Sukura Onganyi and Derrick Kamira.

The incident occurred during a police patrol in Sempagala Zone, Ntinda, in Nakawa Division. The two suspects attempted to evade arrest on a motorcycle, resulting in a collision with the police vehicle.
Local residents recorded the incident, which revealed the hidden machetes. Both Onganyi and Kamira have been provided with medical attention, and a case for investigation on the possession of deadly weapons has been initiated.
The police are also searching for a third person involved in the incident, and the recovered machetes will be used as evidence in court.
This incident is part of a series of panga-wielding attacks in the Kampala Metropolitan area, which has led to injuries and fatalities in various locations.
