Soldier who slept with boss’ wife to be sentenced by UPDF Court Martial

UPDF Army court martial has started the trial of soldier in a case where he is accused with sleeping with boss’ wife.

Lance corporal John Nuwagira allegedly in 2019 started a s3xual affair with Annet Kobusingye, the wife of his boss Lt Robert Turyahabwe while he was away in Somalia on official duty.

According to reports, John had been having an extra marital affair with his boss’s wife until the intelligence leaked out to his boss who was away in Somalia.

He was later arrested after formal complaints raised by his boss. The UPDF court martial may upon conviction sentence him to at least 5 years.
