The Lwengo Resident District Commissioner Hudu Hussein has broken silence on failing to excel in the Bar course he has been pursuing at the Law Development Centre main campus in Kampala.
The self-styled MK movement mobilizer has attributed his failure to the busy work schedule that he says hampered his concentration on the Course. According to one of his close confidants he spoke to, Mr. Hudu says as a civil servant in government, he commits most of his time to work and ends up sparing no effort to read his books.
“As you all know he has been on the move from one District to another. He would have excelled his exams had he been retained as RCC Kawempe,” the friend tells this publication. “He believes some lecturers hate him for his personality and political views; Being an avid mobilizer for the first son Muhoozi Kainerugaba. He has shared his political position on Twitter. Everyone knows where Hudu falls when the 2026 general elections come,” he said.
One of his classmates however disputes this version of events, stating that Mr. Hudu Hussein’s failure to excel is due to his academic inconsistencies.
“He has been believing that everything can be solved by money and status. Most of his coursework has been done by mercenaries. He has been paying other students to do class work and coursework for him. If you observe his grades, he only passed coursework,” his friend tells this reporter. “But with final exams, it is a different chapter. You cannot hire any mercenary to handle for you the task. You have to do the work on your own. Invigilators are instructed to see the Identity Cards of candidates to ensure that the right person is sitting for the paper. This is how Hudu Hussein was netted,” the source adds.

It is said that Mr. Hudu Hussein spent a minimum of UGX 15m pursuing the one-year Bar Course. His failure to excel in the civil litigation paper where he scored 27%, alongside other retakes implies he has to wait for another academic year to sit his final exams again.
Unverified reports say Mr. Hudu is already trying to lure the LDC Academic Registrar to clear for him his retakes, but the major concern is that it is now public knowledge that this RDC failed and therefore sneaking him to the graduation list would taint the credibility of LDC.
