Former presidential press secretary Joseph Tamale Mirundi has tasked the speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among and other cabinet Ministers implicated in the Karamoja iron sheets saga to start learning about life in prison.
While on a radio talk show on Beat FM airwaves this morning, Mirundi lashed out at cabinet Ministers for turning saboteurs who want to taint the hard earned legacy of President Museveni.
“Museveni is about to retire from presidency and that is why he has to consolidate himself and set up a legacy. Roofing permanent houses and writing off grass thatched houses in the Karamoja region is one thing that can make him celebrated,” Mirundi said. “But his efforts are being undermined by thieving individuals in cabinet. These thieves must be arrested. I implore them to learn about prison life. Let them buy one inch mattresses and practice eating half cooked posho,” he added.

Mirundi also adds that he has gathered information that some cabinet Ministers are hiding to evade arrest. He cites the Minister for lands Hon. Judith Nabakooba whom he says has not made any public appearance since the saga began.
